Do you thrive on opportunities to lead and inspire teams working in fast paced operational environments?  We are seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our team at Marine Terminals Ltd in Dublin.

Your role

 

As a key member of the Port Leadership Team, you will lead and drive operational excellence and customer service ensuring that port operations are planned and run safely, optimally and consistently for the benefit of our teams and our customers.   You will work collaboratively with the Business Unit Manager and the wider leadership team on improvements to efficiency, delivery of revenue and EBITDA which meets or exceeds targets, seeking opportunities for innovation to all activities across the Port, including monitoring and delivery of KPI metrics and forecasts. 

You will develop effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, you will be responsible for day to day account management of existing customers.  Through effective leadership and management, you will support the team through training, coaching and mentoring, proactively leading change.

What you'll bring

 

You will:

  • Have strong leadership experience within an operational, KPI driven business;
  • Ideally have a background in shipping, supply chain, logistics or warehousing;
  • Have strong analytical skills and be data driven in decision making;
  • Have a strong focus on Environment, Health and Safety as well as commercial acumen.
