Vacancy - Marine Services Manager
Are you an experienced and motivated Marine Professional looking to play a pivotal role in the strategic delivery and continuous improvement of our Marine Services? We are seeking a Marine Services Manager to work collaboratively with our Head of Marine to ensure seamless, round-the-clock operations that are safe, efficient, and compliant.
Your role
In this role, you will support the Head of Marine in delivering high-quality, compliant marine services 24/7, 365 days a year, ensuring statutory compliance with marine legislation and consistent and safe navigation for all port users.
You will lead and inspire our dedicated pilot cutter crew in providing critical pilot boat services for vessel movements across Clydeport. You will act as a key liaison with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders—including commercial operators, regulatory bodies, and marine partners.
You will drive performance, safety, and service excellence across all marine support functions.
What you'll bring
You will have:
- Port marine facility or sea-going experience;
- A strong track record in leading high-performing teams in marine environments;
- Proven ability to deliver effective, compliant, and customer-focused services;
- Sound knowledge of marine legislation, safety standards, and operational best practices;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
