If you're looking for an exciting opportunity to challenge yourself and grow within a dynamic environment, we want you on board as a Business Analyst in our Technology Solutions Team at the Port of Liverpool.

Your Role

As a Business Analyst, you'll be at the core of our Safety, Engineering, and Operational teams across Peel Ports Group, acting as a crucial link between end-users and various IT support functions. In this role, you'll be a subject matter expert on our key systems, especially those developed internally. You'll have the opportunity to:

• Collaborate closely with end-users to understand their challenges and identify improvement opportunities.
• Propose, develop, and implement solutions to drive best practices and continuous improvement within the business.
• Support the ongoing management and maintenance of existing solutions while working on exciting new projects in the pipeline.

Joining the Technology Solutions Team, Peel Ports’ internal development and implementation function, you’ll work alongside developers, project managers, business analysts, stakeholders, and third-party collaborators, all focused on transforming our processes for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.

Preferred (but not essential) experience:

• Prior experience in roles like Business Analyst or Continuous Improvement Specialist
• Familiarity with Microsoft’s Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
• Working knowledge of SharePoint as an end-user or administrator
• Awareness of SAP
• Degree or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
