Vacancy - Environment, Health and Safety Apprenticeship

Are you passionate about protecting people and the environment?  Are you ready to take your first step towards a career with an organisation where safety is the number one priority?  We are seeking Environment, Health and Safety Apprentices, offering an opportunity to combine hands-on experience, professional development and the chance to make a lasting impact, whilst gaining a fully funded, recognised qualification.

Your role

Working alongside experienced EHS professionals in a supportive environment, you will start your professional development through a Level 3 Safety, Health and Environment Technician apprenticeship.  You will learn how to identify and manage environmental and safety risks across our operations, supporting initiatives that promote health, safety and sustainability in the workplace.

You will work in a diverse work environment, where no two days are the same, and where everything you do matters.  Your development programme has been designed to build your expertise and confidence, supporting your growth and progression.

What you'll bring

You will:

  • Have or be expected to achieve, a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 9 to 5 or A* to C (or equivalent) including Maths, English and Science;
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills and excellent IT skills with the ability to confidently use MS Office tools;
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills and will be able to demonstrate effective team working, as well as being self-motivated to work independently;
  • Be organised and able to schedule your time effectively to ensure you can complete your academic studies alongside your job, demonstrating a commitment to your own personal development.

Please note that you will not be eligible for these apprenticeships if you already hold a qualification at the same level or higher in a related subject area.  This is in line with apprenticeship funding regulations.
