Are you excited by a role where you can use your experience in the Energy and Utilities Sector to influence the effective day to day operations of our Ports?  Would you welcome the opportunity to work in a varied role, where you will be a key interface between a diverse group of stakeholders, playing a critical role in collating and analysing data and using this to put in place areas of improvement?  We are seeking an Energy and Utilities Co-ordinator to join our small team who are responsible for managing our private Electricity, Gas and Water networks across the Peel Ports Group.

Your role

 

In this role you will act as the primary point of contact for supply and meter related issues from tenants and customers, co-ordinating and organising the smooth running of energy and utilities monitoring, reporting and billing, as well as carrying out analysis of energy data to look for potential areas of improvement.  The role will be office based and you will have the opportunity to regularly spend time on site at the Port of Liverpool, with occasional travel to other Port locations.

You will also support in the identification and delivery of resource reduction projects across the group as part of ISO 500001 accreditation.

What you'll bring

 

You will have: 

  • An understanding of utility billing, systems and processes in line with electricity and water regulations and an awareness of private networks and the relevant legislation / guidance.   An Electrical or Facilities background would be ideal.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to interact and work with external customers and internal stakeholders, using your strong communication skills to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Intermediate excel skills with strong analytical skills to help collate and interpret data and trends.
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to proof/check items for accuracy and completeness.
  • The ability to manage your own workload and deliver to deadlines and agreed KPIs.
  • Experience in dealing with customers / tenants would also be ideal.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
