Are you an experienced Insurance and Claims Manager seeking an opportunity to lead and inspire your team to deliver efficiency and excellence? We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our ambitious and growing business to deliver an effective insurance and claims management service to the whole Group.
Your role
As Group Insurance and Claims Manager you will lead a small team, playing a key role in shaping the service, taking ownership for reviewing processes to ensure the efficient and effective management of claims by and against the Group, including timely and optimal resolution.
You will manage insurance arrangements on behalf of the Group, liaising with brokers and insurance providers to lead the annual renewal cycle, ensuring appropriate cover and the most cost effective agreement is delivered. You will also take a lead in the resolution of insurance claims.
What you will bring
You will be an experienced insurance and claims specialist, with experience of leading and developing a team. You will have the proven ability for ensuring claims are managed efficiently and effectively in a fast paced environment. You will have excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience of building effective relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. Ideally, you will have experience in ports/shipping or an associated sector, but this is not essential.
