Your Role

 

In this role, you will take full responsibility for managing the Group’s tax obligations and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation. Operating as our in‑house corporate tax expert, you will support commercial and strategic decision‑making while safeguarding the Group’s tax position.

You will set and oversee the Group’s tax strategy, ensuring compliance, risk management and good governance across all taxes, influencing commercial and strategic decision-making while safeguarding and optimising the Group’s tax position.

Working closely with the CFO, Finance, Legal and operational stakeholders, you will lead the tax function, manage risk, optimise efficiency and ensure robust governance. Reporting at executive level, this role offers significant influence within a dynamic, multi-entity environment and the opportunity to shape strategic projects.

What you'll bring

 

You will be a Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA) or Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) with extensive leadership experience and will have:

  • Significant post-qualification experience leading group-wide tax compliance, reporting and governance across complex, multi-entity structures in an in-house environment
  • Strong technical expertise in UK and international tax, including transfer pricing, CbC reporting and evolving areas such as Pillar Two
  • Experience advising on strategic tax matters such as M&A, restructuring, funding and commercial initiatives
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and explain complex tax matters clearly to non-specialists
  • Proactive, solution-focused mindset with sound judgement and professional curiosity
