Vacancy - Group IT Business Partner
We are seeking a Group IT Business Partner to join the Peel Ports Group IT team – acting as a key technology partner and trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across our business. This role is critical in ensuring that our digital solutions align with operational needs and support the future growth of the Peel Ports Group.
Your Role
As a Group IT Business Partner, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers to shape and deliver business technology goals in line with our strategy. Acting as a key link between business operations and IT, you’ll identify requirements, lead development and configuration projects, and drive the effective implementation of systems including SAP EHS.
With responsibility for delivering high-quality IT solutions that address complex business needs, leading and supporting change configuration and the initial testing of fixes and enhancements. You will provide training and ensure effective knowledge sharing takes place across the business to support end users.
What you'll bring
You will have previous SAP experience, ideally gained within an EHS setting, alongside:
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into language that resonates with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, enabling you to understand root causes while also considering the impact on people and processes.
• With a well-developed ability to manage competing priorities, you’ll demonstrate exceptional organisational skills and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• You will be willing and able to travel to other locations as and when required
