Are you excited by the opportunity to work in a safety critical role to ensure the safe and efficient operation of a multi-million pound Biomass terminal. We are seeking an Industrial Cleaning Lead to join our team at the Port of Liverpool and help us keep the world moving!
Your Role
In this role you will lead a team of third party labour and help undertake cleaning duties following instructions from the supervisor. You will undertake routine cleaning and basic maintenance of mobile plant, reporting any incidents and hazard observations to the supervisor. You will ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in all the storage and handling areas of both the terminal and satellite stores in accordance with the Cleaning Audit schedule.
You will carry out site audits to monitor levels of cleaning equipment, ensuring products and equipment are stored correctly and re-ordering when necessary. You will record and sign off areas cleaned in accordance with the site Audit and Cleaning task sheets. The Industrial Cleaning Lead role is shift based.
What you'll bring
You will have previous industrial cleaning experience, alongside:
- Excellent attitude to safety with previous experience working in a safety critical environment
- An understanding of permit to work systems
- Previous supervisor experience would be beneficial
- Be willing and able to work in dusty environments for prolonged periods
A full valid driving licence is required for this role. Due to operational demands, a flexible approach to working hours is needed for this role.
