Vacancy - Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to ensure that day to day maintenance functions operate safely and efficiently, providing operational areas the equipment needed to keep the world moving!
Your Role
As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you will help to support the Container Division Engineering team at the Port of Liverpool by ensuring day-to-day maintenance functions operate safely and efficiently, providing operational areas and the port estate an on-time service.
You will carry out Planned Preventative and Corrective Maintenance tasks, as delegated by the Container Division Engineering Manager, Engineering Shift Managers (ESMs) and Crane Lead Engineer, in an effective and safe manner for all Gantry Cranes (STS and CRMGs) and associated equipment, across the at the Port. The Maintenance tasks which you will cover will be of both an Electrical and Mechanical nature. All electrical work is required to meet Peel Ports Electrical Safety Rules.
The position is based on a 4 on/4 off, 12-hour shift pattern, working day hours only.
What you'll bring
You will need to have either a HNC in Mechatronics, or hold a HNC (or equivalent qualification) in both Electrical and Mechanical.
You will have previous experience working on PLC’s, motors/controls, variable speed drives, as well as electrical installation works, maintenance repair and replacement of all electrical infrastructure. Fault finding and repair experience is essential for this role. You will have an understanding of permit to work systems and accident reporting.
You will be an experienced Electrical or Mechanical Engineer, willing and able to multi-skill, with knowledge of effective maintenance strategies i.e. RCM, PM, CBM and TPM. You will be willing and able to work at heights, confined spaces and in dirty/dusty environments.
