Vacancy - Planning Coordinator

 

Are you seeking a varied role where you can use your administration and support experience to enhance the efficient, timely and accurate delivery of services in an operational environment?  Are you excited by the opportunity to work collaboratively with internal and external contacts to maximise service delivery?  As a result of internal promotion, we are seeking an experienced administrator with a background working in a planning environment to join our team.

Your role

 

Reporting to the Operations Support Manager, you will take ownership for reviewing and improving processes and procedures working collaboratively with the wider team to maximise the service provided to a diverse range of customers within our Steels and Metals terminal.  As a vital member of the team, you will act as the key interface between internal colleagues and customers, including hauliers and steel traders, to ensure an efficient, accurate and timely service is provided.

What you'll bring

 

You will have experience in an administration role having worked in a planning environment.  You will have strong IT skills, including experience using a stock management system.  You will also have intermediate Excel skills with experience of manipulating data sets.  Strong communication skills are also essential with experience of communicating effectively with internal and external contacts at a range of levels.
