Project Manager - Group Capital Projects

Are you a Project Manager who has experience of working on infrastructure projects and who enjoys working in a fast moving environment where your contribution truly matters?  Do you value collaboration, shared success, and the chance to deliver a diverse portfolio of land and marine based infrastructure projects that help you shape the future of one of the UK’s most dynamic ports?

Your Role

You’ll be part of an environment where projects progress quickly from concept to delivery, giving you a rare opportunity to see the positive impact of your work.  Managing a portfolio of £1m to £10m+ infrastructure projects, you’ll guide each project through structured delivery gateways, ensuring clarity, compliance and reporting.  You’ll oversee projects through their full lifecycle - from concept, design, procurement, construction, handover and close out.

You’ll work with NEC contracts and collaborate closely with QS and Planner colleagues, as well as managing and coordinating consultants, contractors and supply chain partners.  Strong relationships are key to success in this role and you’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery, support performance, risk management and project governance.

What You'll Bring

You’ll have:

  • Proven project management experience, ideally a member of APM or RICS;
  • Experience in delivering infrastructure projects;
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive stakeholder relationships;
  • A collaborative, proactive and supportive approach;
  • Ideally you will have NEC contract experience, though this is not essential.
