Vacancy - Project Manager
Are you seeking a role in which you can develop, manage, deliver and handover a series of multi-discipline infrastructure projects across our Clydeport and Dublin estates? Do you thrive on delivering projects safely to high quality, on time and within budget? We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team at King George V Docks, Glasgow.
Your Role
In this role you will drive excellent performance in Safety, Health, Environment and Quality to ensure the highest standards are put at the forefront of all projects. Working with project sponsors, you will turn their requirements into robustly scoped project submissions which can be taken forward for investment appraisal.
You will manage the lifecycle of a project through feasibility, development, design, construction, completion commissioning, handover and post project review. You will ensure robust financial management and commercial awareness forms the foundation of all business decisions and deliver projects to quality, time and cost in accordance with statutory legislation and mandatory company standards.
What you'll bring
You will ideally be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Construction, Engineering, or Project Management, and be a member of a relevant professional body. You will have experience of managing construction projects in an engineering or related environment. An understanding of commercial construction contracts, ideally NEC, would be beneficial.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will be confident and self-motivated with the ability to manage a large and varied portfolio of projects.
