The Purchase to Pay Analyst role, within the Procurement Department, will support the continued delivery of Peel ports’ operations through the prompt and efficient processing of supplier invoices and queries via the use of SAP.


Responsibilities will also include:


- Manage communications with suppliers including queries and invoice disputes via mailbox and telephone

- Process incoming invoices in line with departmental SLAs and to ensure all invoices are posted and recorded accurately

- Manage activities within the source to settle process to maintain data/documents within the internal governance and audit guidelines and HMRC rules

- Contract upload for rent invoices, management of Rates Invoices

- Support ongoing administration of the SAP system

- Ensure all invoices are authorised in line with the departmental delegation of authority


Skills and Experience


- Knowledge and experience of SAP and Purchase to Pay Process

- High level of numerical and data entry speed and accuracy

Excellent communication and time/resource management skills

Posses an understanding of internal control and compliance

- Ability to deliver against agreed KPI’s and targets

- Up to date working knowledge of VAT regulations

- Good knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office software e.g. Word and Excel
