Applicants are invited to apply for the above vacancy within the Group ERP Department based at the Port of Liverpool.

 

Role Purpose: Work as part of the SAP Solution Centre as a business partner, primarily in the area of HR and Payroll.  The role focuses on ensuring business support to users of the Peel Ports Group ERP Solution.

 

 

This role will include the following responsibilities:

 

- Provide leading specialist level functional and configuration support for the SAP Solutions Centre in the configuration/support of SAP SuccessFactors (SF), Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and Performance (PM) and Goals Management (GM)

- Provide timely 3rd line support to personnel on SAP issues; analysing and resolving faults

- Ensure Service/Incident Management system, knowledge base and supporting documentation is updated and accurate

- Perform initial testing of incident/problems fixes, change request, enhancements, and new functionality

- Proactively engage with the Solution Leads/Design Authority to ensure the integrity, future design and change management of the solution

- Provide excellent customer engagement with responding to customer incidents, requirements, problem resolution and process modelling

- Conduct configuration changes to accommodate change requests/improvements

- Assist in training activities and advice and guidance to the business

- Keep abreast of SAP releases, enhancements/new functionality and perform application research

 

Applicants interested in this role should ideally possess the following skills and experience:

 

- Previous experience in a helpdesk/support role

- Strong understanding of ITSM policies, processes, and procedures e.g. the ITIL Framework

- Experience with SAP HR, HCM or ideally SF

- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences

- Strong analytical skills as part of a problem solving mindset

- Educated to degree level
