Do you have experience in stock control in an operational environment? Are you excited by the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, using your experience to make a real difference to the effective control of stock across the Steels and Metals terminals at the Port of Liverpool?
Your role
This is a varied role, working collaboratively with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders, you will ensure that stock coming into and out of the Port of Liverpool is efficiently and accurately managed and monitored, and that any issues are proactively resolved to maximise the service provided to our customers.
You will be encouraged to think innovatively to drive forward improvements to our approach to improving the efficient and accurate control of stock across two sites.
What you'll bring
You will have experience of stock control in an operational environment, with good knowledge of using IT systems to manage your workload. You will have strong customer skills and attention to detail and will be diligent in ensuring the service provided is maximised.
Experience of working in a Port environment and knowledge of health and safety requirements would be ideal.
You will also be willing to work flexibly on occasion in evenings and weekends to respond to operational requirements.
