Your Role

 

Working collaboratively with Supervisors and Managers across the Port to ensure training meets operational needs, you’ll deliver on site, hands on, high impact training for new and existing teams across a range of material handling equipment ranging from 5-ton forklifts to 70-ton reach stackers—all in our dedicated specialist training area.

 

You’ll prepare training materials, maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with current legislation and accreditation standards.

 

You’ll also conduct incident investigations and support HSE initiatives.

 

Whilst the role is delivered Monday Friday, some flexibility may be required for early/late starts.

What you'll bring

 

You will have:

 

  • Proven MHE training experience—ideally in a port or logistics setting.
  • NPORS Instructor qualification.
  • Deep knowledge of Health and Safety and safe systems of work.
  • Exceptional communication and coaching abilities.
  • Detail-orientation, with strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Confident stakeholder liaison skills across departments.
  • Flexible, collaborative, and proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
